Download and complete this form to provide professional references supporting your application to the CMAC trainer program.

Training Video Requirements

As part of your application, please submit two short training videos demonstrating your training skills.

Video 1 — Clicker Shaping

Show yourself shaping a behavior using a clicker. We will be looking at your timing, observation skills, reinforcement delivery, and ability to build behavior progressively.

Video 2 — Luring


Show yourself using a lure to train a behavior of your choice. We will be looking at your training mechanics, communication with the dog, and reinforcement skills.

Maximum 5 minutes per video

  • The trainer and dog must both be clearly visible.

  • Show the training process, not simply the finished behavior.

  • The dog does not need to be a service dog.

  • Videos should not be heavily edited.

How to Submit Your Videos

Upload your videos to Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive, YouTube (unlisted), or another file-sharing service and email us the links with your completed application.

Please make sure your sharing settings allow us to view the videos without requesting access.
